How to Call a Lead

You can call a lead from two places: the lead list page or the lead details page.

From the lead list page

Use the lead list when you need to move quickly through a call queue. Each row has a call button, so you can dial, wrap up, and move straight to the next lead without leaving the list.

  1. Navigate to your lead list.
  2. Find the lead you want to call.
  3. Click the call icon on their row to dial.
  4. Log your outcome and move to the next lead.

From the lead details page

Use the lead details page when you need to multi-task during the call — reviewing screening form responses, checking contact history, or taking notes while you speak.

  1. Click the lead's name to open their detail page.
  2. Review their screening responses and history before/while dialing.
  3. Click the call button to initiate the call.
  4. Log your outcome and move to the next lead

Not sure which to use? The lead list is best for running down a queue fast. The details page is best when the conversation will require context.

Can a lead call your Foundation number back?

Yes. Each study is provisioned its own Foundation phone number, and that's the number leads see when you call or text them. If a lead calls it back, the call forwards and routes to the phone number your team provided to your CSA during setup.

Incoming calls can't be answered inside Foundation at this time. Because of that, the phone line you give us should be one your study team monitors throughout the day so returned calls don't go unanswered.
