Foundation Release Notes 2026

This release adds per-site phone numbers and site-scoped automations for multi-site studies, changes how participant IDs are assigned during lead transfer, and updates the default screening form consent text for Foundation EU.

New

Set up a phone number for each site in a multi-site study

Engagement provisioning can allow each site to have their own unique Foundation phone number and incoming forwarding phone number. If the study would like the share a Foundation phone number, that option is still available as well.

See phone number registration status for each site

The registration banner in the message center now lists registration status per site and per phone number, and shows only the sites you have permission to see.

Choose whether an automation applies study-wide or to a single site

A new Automation Scope section in the Automation Builder, below Automation Name, lets you choose Study-wide or Specific sites. A study-wide automation is evaluated against every lead in the study. While a site-scoped automation only runs for leads at the site you select. Automations that existed before this release are study-wide.

Changes and Fixes

• Changed the OpenClinica EDC lead transfer function to no longer need the Participant ID template setting and site short code.
• Fixed an issue where lead list filters were cleared after you edited a lead's responses and navigated back to the list.
